IAISP is seeking a skilled and proactive Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to lead our SOC team and ensure effective detection and response to security incidents.

Role:
As the Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to monitor and respond to security incidents in real-time. You will lead the SOC team, ensuring effective incident detection, response, and coordination with other departments to maintain a robust security posture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage SOC Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the SOC, ensuring efficient and effective incident detection, analysis, and response.
- Incident Detection and Response: Direct the team in identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and threats in real-time.
- Team Management: Supervise SOC personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with other departments, including IT and business units, during security events to ensure comprehensive incident management and communication.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement SOC processes, procedures, and best practices to enhance incident response and operational efficiency.
- Reporting and Documentation: Oversee the documentation of security incidents, prepare incident reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Tool and Technology Management: Ensure the effective use of SOC tools and technologies, and recommend upgrades or new solutions as needed.
- Threat Intelligence: Stay informed about emerging threats and trends to adapt SOC strategies and tools accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing a SOC or similar security operations team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced certifications or degrees are a plus.
- Strong understanding of SOC processes, incident management, and security monitoring tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of fostering a high-performance environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
- Effective communication skills, capable of presenting complex security information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SOC-specific certifications are highly desirable.
Reporting Line:
The SOC Manager will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), contributing to the strategic direction and operational efficiency of the security operations center.
