Role:
As a Security Architect at IAISP, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security architectures that safeguard our organization’s critical information assets. You will ensure compliance with established security standards and evaluate emerging technologies to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust security infrastructures that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain security architecture frameworks and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Evaluate new and emerging technologies to assess their impact on security and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of business operations and technology projects.
- Conduct security assessments and design reviews to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity to continuously enhance the security architecture.
- Provide expert guidance and support to other security and IT teams on security-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security architectures within complex environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Expertise in evaluating and integrating new technologies with a focus on security.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Reporting Line:
The Security Architect will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), contributing to the overall security strategy and initiatives.
