Threat Intelligence Analyst

Location: Multiple Locations (Middle East and Africa (MEA), North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific)

Role:
As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information about potential security threats. You will monitor threat landscapes, provide actionable intelligence to the SOC, and develop threat models to proactively address and mitigate potential risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Threat Landscapes: Continuously monitor and analyze threat landscapes to identify emerging threats, trends, and tactics used by cyber adversaries.
  • Gather Intelligence: Collect and analyze threat intelligence from various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), commercial threat feeds, and internal data sources.
  • Provide Actionable Intelligence: Generate and deliver actionable intelligence reports and briefings to the SOC and other relevant teams to support proactive threat detection and response.
  • Develop Threat Models: Create and refine threat models to understand potential attack vectors, adversary behavior, and the impact on the organization.
  • Collaborate with SOC: Work closely with the SOC team to provide context and insights that enhance incident detection, investigation, and response efforts.
  • Incident Support: Assist in the analysis of security incidents by providing intelligence that helps in understanding the nature of the threat and potential impact.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of threat intelligence activities and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in threat intelligence, cybersecurity trends, and adversary tactics to continually improve threat analysis and response strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in threat intelligence or a similar role, with a strong understanding of threat analysis and cyber threat landscapes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced certifications or degrees are a plus.
  • Expertise in using threat intelligence platforms, security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in identifying and interpreting threat indicators and developing threat models.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex threat information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as CTIA, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Reporting Line:
The Threat Intelligence Analyst will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), providing critical insights that support the organization’s overall security strategy and operations.
